2026 Kick-Off Message

Hi everyone, and welcome to the 2026 season of Retirement IQ. I’m your host, John Stregger.

Whether you’ve been with us since day one or you’re just joining our community now, I want to wish you all a Happy New Year. I’m grateful you’ve chosen to spend time with us, as we work together, to build the retirement you deserve.

We laid a really strong foundation in 2025. We dug into the Canada Pension Plan, looked at strategies to avoid that nasty OAS clawback, and tackled some of the most common retirement misconceptions. We even had the "Sketch Guy," Carl Richards, join us to talk about the link between your money and your life.

But now, it’s all about looking forward.

For 2026, we’ve got a packed lineup designed to fine-tune your financial plan, including:

·       How your home and car insurance can impact your retirement plan.

·        “What is Probate?” And more importantly, how to avoid it.

·       And we’ll explore some of the biggest estate planning mistakes, and help you steer clear of them.

Remember: new episodes drop every two weeks. So, if you haven’t already, hit that like and subscribe button—whether you’re watching on YouTube or listening on your favorite podcast app.
